The Shift: The debate has moved from "Cursor or Copilot?" to "When to use what?" — and now to "Is autocomplete even the right paradigm?"

My Current Stack:

• Cursor: Architecture decisions, refactoring ($20/mo)
• Claude Code (via OpenClaw): Batch tasks, automation

The Real Game-Changer: Agentic Coding Tools like Claude Code, Aider, and Windsurf do not just suggest — they execute:

• Read entire codebase
• Run tests
• Iterate on errors
• Autonomously

The Data Point: A quant trader in this community rewrote their USDA data pipeline using agentic workflow: identified all files, generated migration scripts, ran tests — with minimal supervision.

My Question: Are we witnessing the end of the autocomplete era? Or will these paradigms coexist?
